Last year, over 150 people took part in our Chickenshed 10K Challenge. This year’s event promises to be bigger, brighter and bursting with even more energy than before! Starts at 10am.
Our 10K route gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself to compete for your personal best against other runners or take a more relaxed approach and run, walk or jog with family and friends (pets allowed).
A 3K route, which is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, is available for those who would like a shorter challenge.
Download the 10K Challenge Route Map.
Brooklyn’s Grill at Chickenshed will also be open to provide food and drink for spectators and those wishing to stay after the event.
Shiatsu Massage will be available on the day to ease those aches and pains!

It’s your challenge
The Chickenshed 10K Challenge is a fantastic way to get fit and help to raise money for a local charity. With the Chickenshed 10K Challenge, we are aiming to raise over £10,000 towards our ‘Access for All’ programme. This programme helps to support children, young people and adults - who have a range of multiple and complex needs or who have social or financial disadvantages - to be able to access our performances and workshops.
If you are unable to attend, please support Chickenshed by texting CHAL11 £5 to 70070.
How to enter
It's easy to enter. Simply download and complete an entry form and post with your registration fee to Chickenshed, Chase Side, Southgate, London, N14 4PE. Just ask your friends, colleagues and family to sponsor you. Registrations can also be taken on the day of the event.
Winner of our early sign competition is announced!
All those entrants who signed up before 19 September were entered into a free prize draw to win an Apple Nike+ iPod Sports Kit. The winner is Erica Hillman. Congratulations!
Set up your own free online fundraising page
Chickenshed encourage all 10K Challenge participants to set up their own free online fundraising page. The benefit of this is that you can email the page to your friends and family, donate online easily and safely with a credit/debit card and all money goes directly to Chickenshed – so there is no sponsorship money to collect!
Also the online fundraising page can be your own space to tell your sponsors how and why you are raising money for Chickenshed, how your training is going and a chance to post photographs and links to your Facebook or Twitter page. Set up your own page here.
