Europe’s premier Jazz clarinettist, Julian Marc Stringle, brings his unique Latin flavoured Jazz funk group, The Dream Band, to Chickenshed to perform an exhilarating blend of Funk, Blues, Ballads, Bebop, Latin Jazz and Classics.

Led by Julian on clarinet, saxes and vocals, The Dream Band features the breath-taking virtuoso pianist Neil Angilley, award-winning Canadian guitar star Dominic Ashworth, pulsating bass ace Chris Dodd and the dynamic and stylish Mike Bradley on drums. In addition, Jacqui Hicks is the stunning Shakatak vocalist, and the very special guest is the formidable vibraphone prodigy, Jim Hart.

The support act for the night is made up of Middlesex University students currently studying for their Jazz BA. They are Ruth Wilson on vocals, Christian Grace on piano, Serge Ngando on double bass and Dave Storey on drums.
