Disturbance by Ashley Maynard
Following the carnage caused by the riots in the summer of 2011, three people are offered the chance to express their reasons for taking part. No solutions are offered but a more personal truth is revealed; how one action, one decision, one moment of madness, can have repercussions that echo throughout a person’s life.
Removed by Mark Lees
As two removal men carry out their days work they stumble across something that will take them on a journey of unexpected events. A fusion of styles; silent movie, clowning and physical theatre will unravel this simple yet charming story.
Alley Cats by Emma Balaam
Set in the red light districts of London, 6 working girls let us into a glimpse of their lives. Their confrontational approach vividly explores their day to day occupation, from mothers to addiction and violence.
Bromance by Michael Gavas
Alan and Mark are two very different young men but they share something in common; a very close and often bizarre friendship. Glimpsed through the quieter moments in their life, this piece will explore the ups and downs of this offbeat relationship as these two fellows journey through life together. Romance is dead - Long Live Bromance.
There’s No Tomorrow by Paul Harris
This is a story of one of life’s natural tragedies which largely comes with age – Alzheimer’s – and the profound affect it has on a once happy family who are struggling to cope with the mental deterioration of their matriarch. The situation may look grim but often in times of human dilemma there comes with it much humour and compassion.
