Virtuoso clarinettist Julian Marc Stringle and his Dream Band join forces with Sonia Slany’s Solid Strings to perform their brilliant and original fusion of jazz-funk and classic melodies. It’s Clazzical was the brainchild of Julian and the late Sir John Dankworth, and was first performed at Wavendon shortly before Sir John passed away.

With compositions by Gershwin, Goodman, Chopin, Mozart, Rimsky Korsakov, Villa Lobos, Dankworth and Stringle, and arrangements by Dominic Ashworth and Swedish composer John Jannson, It’s Clazzical appeals to both jazz lovers and classical audiences.
