Members of our BTEC 1st Year will be participating in Big Dance 2012 as part of a 40 minute dance piece involving 1,000 performers from 40 London groups. Wayne McGregor CBE (Random Dance Company) has been commissioned to create the piece which will be inspired by the Olympics. 

Our BTEC students will form part of the North London Hub. Guided by Chickenshed's Artistic Staff and mentors from Random Dance, they will create a 5 minute performance which, through weekend rehearsals, will be woven into a complete performance which involves a cast of over 1000. 

The finale will be performed in Trafalgar Square on Saturday 14 July and is free to watch.
