We're excited to announce that Richard Herring, one of Britain's most critically acclaimed comedians, will be the MC for our October Comedy Night. Also performing will be Marcel Lucont, Doug Segal, Meryl O'Rourke and Doc Brown.
Richard Herring has been at the forefront of British Comedy since the early 90s when he performed with Stewart Lee as part of the widely celebrated Comedy duo ‘Lee and Herring’. As well as writing and performing their own shows for BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4 and BBC 2 the duo also wrote for Chris Morris and Armando Iannucci.
As a solo comedian Herring has performed critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows almost every year since 1987 often following them with sold-out national tours. In addition to performing his stand-up Herring also writes an award winning podcast and a weekly column for The Metro.
Risky, adventurous, hilarious and often controversial Richard Herring is undoubtedly one of Britain’s best comedians.

Doug is an exciting new breed of psychological entertainer combining comedy with seeming feats of mind reading & mind control. In his full show Doug Segal (BBC1, BBC 3, MTV & others) promises to make the audience into mind readers as he teaches the audience how to: predict the National Lottery, detect lies, read minds & implant subliminal suggestions.
