Chickenshed created the ShedLink inclusive theatre training Programme in 2000 in order to impact on the performing arts provision in the U.K. by creating a wider and deeper understanding of inclusive theatre practice.

Find your nearest 'Shed'
Since 2000 we have established 19 ‘Sheds/Inclusive Community Theatre Groups’, with 9 in Greater London and others spread across various locations in the UK. In addition we have also established two in Russia thanks to funding from the European Union. These groups operate independently from us but remain associated by a shared vision of inclusive theatre – its philosophy and practice.

How to set up a 'Shed'
Since 2000, we have establised 19 'Sheds' in the UK and two in Russia. These Sheds have been set up and trained by Chickenshed but then go to to run independently, linked to Chickenshed by a shared vision of inclusive practice and philosophy. We are always looking for organisations or consortiums of organisations to work with us to establish new 'Sheds' / inclusive community theatre groups.
