A regular gift is the best way to support Chickenshed as it allows us to plan for the future, secure in the knowledge that we can continue to provide an extensive network of programmes and activities.
Standing Order and Direct Debit
Set up a Direct Debit
Regular donations by Direct Debit help to cut administration costs and enable us to plan for the long term - maximising our efforts to help and improve the lives of young people.
How does it work?
Giving by Direct Debit is an agreement between you and Chickenshed to have regular donations taken from your bank or building society.
You can choose to donate whenever is suitable to you and you can also choose to donate weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. Plus, you’ll be protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Please contact our Fundraising Team on or call us direct on 020 8351 6161.
Changes to existing donations
If you would like to amend an existing regular donation, please do not use the online Direct Debit set-up facility. Instead, please email our Fundraising Team on or call us direct on 020 8351 6161.
Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is a simple, tax efficient way of donating to Chickenshed through your salary. Because your donation is taken before tax is deducted, it costs you less and the Inland Revenue gives us the tax it would otherwise have kept.
First of all you need to fill out our Payroll giving form. When you have completed and returned this form, we will pass your details on to our Payroll Giving Agency who will then talk to your employer about setting up a regular gift. You will not have to make any arrangements yourself.
Some employers have not yet set up a payroll giving scheme, but it is very simple to do and completely free of charge. Just follow the appropriate steps on the Charities Aid Foundation website which can be found by clicking here.
