Chickenshed Skydive Challenge 2012

An experience that is both adrenalin fuelled and unique. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if they want the thrill factor . It was also personally rewarding to be able to give something back to Chickenshed, a company that gives so much to others.
Verity Butcher – Team Chickenshed 2011

In June 2011, we organised our first ever Chickenshed Skydive Challenge - 15 brave volunteers jumped 10,000 feet for Chickenshed and raised over £3,500. Following the fantastic success of this event, we are now looking for adventurous volunteers who could raise at least £395 each to take part in a Skydive for Chickenshed this year.

Booking is now open:
To book your place for the Chickenshed Skydive Challenge, please download the registration pack.

Alternatively you can complete an application online (this link will take you direct to Skyline's website. Skyline are the booking operator on behalf of Chickenshed).

For more information on how to take part or to book your place, please contact Helen Hodge at or by calling 020 8351 6161 (ext 267).

Here’s what to expect when you take part:
• The jump and training will be completed in one day
• You’ll be harnessed to an experienced parachute instructor at all times
• You’ll jump from at least 12,000 feet (just like the professionals!)
• Then freefall down to 5,000 feet - falling through the air at 120 mph
• Then ride the parachute down to the ground (you’ll be taught how to steer onto the drop zone)
• The landing will be controlled by your instructor
• You’ll get a certificate to prove that you have completed a 'two-mile high' Tandem Skydive!

Date of Jump: Dates are available throughout the year (please note; these are weather permitting)

Registration Deposit: £70
Sponsorship: £395 minimum (includes the cost of the tandem skydive)
