Ems Magnus has worked in executive functions in public relations, sales promotion, sports marketing, event management, corporate management, and as a consultant. She was intimately involved with major sporting events such as the World Cup in Spain 1982 and Mexico 1986, the Olypmics, and the creation of the UEFA Champions League. For some years she headed the fundraising committee for Make-a-wish international and was its President (in France) for two years.
