David Parfitt is a Producer and co-founder with Kenneth Branagh of Renaissance Theatre Company and Renaissance Films. He has been a Trustee of Chickenshed for a number of years, and is also a Trustee and Chairman of Film at BAFTA.

David has produced numerous Oscar winning and nominated films over the years including Shakespeare in Love, The Madness of King George, The Wings of the Dove, Gangs of New York (production consultant), Peter's Friends and Much Ado about Nothing - to name a few.
