Meet the Cast

    • Antonio/Agnelli..........Rob Crouch

      Rob Crouch is an experienced actor and writer, whose imposing physical presence has seen him cast as werewolves, murderers and despots. Rob has appeared in a stage version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas; is a veteran of the Edinburgh Festival; co-wrote and appeared in the one-man show Oliver Reed: Wild Things, touring Britain and Ireland to fantastic reviews; and in 2015 appeared in the new ABC series Galavant as Ricky Gervais’ manphibean sidekick, Toad.

    • Rosa..........Belinda McGuirk

      Belinda joined Chickenshed as a ‘Middle’ when she was 14 and has been here ever since. During that time, as well as performing many roles in various productions and departments, she has travelled to Ethiopia, Russia and China on various outreach projects.

    • Lucia..........Lauren Cambridge

      Lauren has worked her way through the BTEC and Foundation degree courses, and is now a member of the artistic team. She is also part of Chickenshed’s education mentoring and outreach teams, working with schools and young offender facilities. Lauren has performed in many shows, including Paula’s Story.

    • The Inspector..........Ashley Maynard

      Ashley has been part of Chickenshed from the age of six. He has completed both BTEC and Foundation degree courses and has worked here ever since. As a performed he has appeared in many roles and is the award-nominated sole actor in The Rain That Washes which went on a national tour to great acclaim.

    • The Doctor.& Secret Agent.........Daniel Banton

      Daniel completed his studies at Chickenshed and is now a tutor on the BTEC, Foundation and BA courses, as well as being part of the mentoring team. He has also been part of the Youth Theatre directing team. Daniel has performed in many shows, including As the Mother of a Brown Boy and All I’ve Known.

    • Magistrate & Orderly..........Bradley Davis

      Bradley joined Chickenshed at 16, working his way through the BTEC, Foundation degree and BA courses and is now a member of staff. He has played many roles such as King Lear in Shakespeare’s Island and a useless policeman in The Government Inspector.

    • Police Officer, Orderly & Secret Agent..........Tiia Maikinen

      Tiia is a movement and mask theatre professional from Finland. After completing her studies, she worked at various theatres throughout Europe and the USA. Tiia joined Chickenshed in 2015. She believes that through ensemble work theatre creation becomes a polyphonic symphony of different views surrounding the world.

    • Police Officer, Orderly & Secret Agent...Christopher Marsh*

      Christopher graduated in 2013 with a 2:1 in Acting and Screen Performance, going on to work professionally in Film, Television and Theatre. Christopher first worked work with Chickenshed on their Young Creators programme in 2015 and has since worked with the company on a variety of projects, including Kindertransport in 2016.

    • Group Leader & Orderly..........Michael Gavas

      Michael joined Chickenshed at15 as part of our Youth Theatre and went on to study here as part of his Foundation Degree. Since graduating he has been a regular member of the Chickenshed writers group but is now excited to be back on that ‘ever-welcoming’ stage as a performer.

    • Orderly & Secret Agent...... George Gavas

      George has been part of Chickenshed for 16 years, studying his BTEC and then completing his BA three years ago. He has continued to be part of the Adult Company and a regular volunteer both Front of House and backstage. He is honoured to be part of Trumpets and Raspberries.

    • Orderly & Secret Agent..........Tamika Armstrong

      Tamika is a student at Chickenshed. She is currently working on completing her Foundation degree in Inclusive Performance. She is delighted to be part of the cast and can’t wait to step onto the stage in her first Studio Theatre show.

    • Orderly & Secret Agent......Goutham Rohan

      Goutham is 25 and completed his BA (Hons) in Inclusive Performance at Chickenshed/Middlesex University. Currently volunteering for us, he is really excited to be part of the cast for Trumpets and Raspberries. His ambition is to be working with Children as a Teaching Assistant.
