Chickenshed has established a growing number of independent Children’s and Youth Theatre Goups working by the Chickenshed inclusive creative process. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteer arts practitioners who wish to share their skills with children and young people. Working as part of a team you will deliver performing arts workshops. There will also be opportunities to visit Chickenshed and take part in training workshops.
Chickenshed is offering a limited number of partially sponsored places (50% sponsorship) on their PGCert leading to MA Programme - 'Inclusivity in the Performing Arts' - to volunteer practitioners who become actively involved with all the exciting, unique training experiences an inclusive environment offers. The next intake is January 2008.

Brixton Shed is recruiting for the new post of Inclusive Artistic Leader.
Purpose of job:
To take overall responsibility for setting and managing the creative development
and delivery of a Heritage Lottery Funded project to take place between
March-July 2008. The post may be extended, pending further funding
Hours:
2 days per week, must include Monday evenings and some weekends/holidays.
Salary:
£150 per day (must be responsible for own tax and NI contributions). The deadline for applications is Thurs 7th Feb. Interviews are likely to take place on Mon 11th/Tues 12th Feb with a view to starting the post at the beginning of March.
