When Hansel and Gretel are left in the forest to fend for themselves, a series of events are set off that take the two children on a journey through some of the Grimm brothers best loved tales. Errant Princess’ who dance until their shoes are worn out, the evil Rumpelstiltskin and his vagabond band of children, at least one evil stepmother, a couple of Kings and not forgetting Hansel and Gretel’s father who searches the enchanted forest for a sign of his beloved children…
As usual, our Christmas show has a cast of approximately 600, aged from 7 years to 50 something. We split our cast into four rota’s, allowing our youngest cast members to be able to perform.
Our unique array of beautiful music, breath-taking choreography, integrated signing, spectacular set design, stunning costumes and madcap characters promises to be a dynamic and unforgettable theatrical journey for adults and children. It opens on 29th November and runs through until 13th January with matinees weekly – tickets remain available for selected performances so book now to avoid disappointment.
