Since 2004, Chickenshed has helped deliver Enfield’s Social Inclusion Policy targeting schools in areas of social disadvantage in need of social inclusion, through training teachers and teaching assistants to overcome communication barriers to learning through performing arts. Tales from the Shed - Chickenshed's wholly original interactive performances for 0 - 5 year olds - has been used to tackle such issues as numeracy and literacy alongside communication.
