The Presidents Club Charitable Trust first supported Chickenshed in the early 1990's. Since then they have been regular, loyal and generous supporters of the company. The Trust has helped us with many major, high profile projects at Chickenshed. At the turn of the millennium The Presidents Club supported us by equipping and furnishing the theatre's original 'Green Room'. Their generous donations have enabled us also to buy our minibus and have helped us with purchases of video and musical equipment. This year the Presidents Club awarded us a grant of nearly £12,500 to support our performance work. This facilitated the purchase of specialist lighting and projection equipment which has been used with such spectacular results in our flagship production, "as the mother of a brown boy…" Because this use of projection in productions is now effectively a Chickenshed 'trademark', this donation represents a significant investment in the future of the company's performance work.
