The Garfield Weston Foundation has been giving to charitable causes for nearly 50 years. The Foundation is consistently one of the largest charitable donors in the UK and the Weston Family (who remain as the Foundation's Trustees) are recognised and respected as some of the UK's leading philanthropists. Unlike many funding organisations the Foundation does not confine its giving to project work. The Garfield Weston Foundation first supported Chickenshed in 1997 and provides much needed assistance to the core work that we do in our theatrical workshops, in education, and in performance. This year the Foundation generously awarded Chickenshed a grant of £30,000 towards our core work.
