Tales from the Shed is Chickenshed's nationally acclaimed production for children.
Tales brings both original and traditional stories to life, in a land of colour, characters and fun. This interactive performance introduces children to a universe where there is no edge to the stage, so children and performers travel a theatrical journey together. Each show is different, but all work creatively to improve literacy, numeracy and communication skills for the under 7s.
Tales is performed on Fridays and Saturdays in The Studio Theatre at Chickenshed, with occasional extra shows on a Thursday.

Times: Friday at 11.30am, Saturdays at 10am and 11.30am.

Tickets: £5.25 for adults & children.
Tales is free for babies 6 month old and under.
Age recommendation: Tales from the Shed is for everyone aged 0-7 years.

Party in the Shed! Why not bring all your friends and family and celebrate your birthday or special occasion at a Tales from the Shed performance at Chickenshed. We can host parties after the 11.30am performance on Saturdays. Email here for more information.
The Chickenshed foyer bar is open before and after each Tales performance selling teas, coffees, a selection of cold drinks and snacks. On Fridays a full lunchtime menu is available.
