Chickenshed and the V&A Family Art Fun present:

Explore, create and perform in the Museum of Mischief!

Would you like to explore the V&A comedy style? Tell a funny story about an object and be silly in the museum? It’s time for the Museum of Mischief!

As part of Family Art Fun, at the V&A, Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea will be delivering a morning of theatre workshops, for families at the V&A on Wednesday 4 April 2018. Together with their parents / carers, children aged 5-11 years, are invited to take part in Chickenshed’s unique blend of drama movement and music exploring what makes us laugh!

You will be helping the V&A to get ideas for a new comedy Pop-up Performance, especially for families! There will also be a chance to dress up in costumes and play with props.

Chickenshed’s inclusive practitioners will guide the families through the activities, who will be learning new skills and sharing ideas in a fun and friendly way. So whether you already love performing or want to try something new, come down to the V&A this Easter for some serious fun!

The session will include a break but snacks and drinks are not provided. Please bring food and drink for you and your family, or feel free to buy food at the V& A’s café or local restaurants / shops.

This is a FREE event but places are limited and should be reserved by using the booking system below. Children must be accompanied by an adult (a maximum of 3 children per adult).

*Please note that this workshop is for over –fives and under-fives will not be admitted.
