MACAW - Mostly About Comedy and Wellbeing (to be rescheduled) Please note these workshops will be rescheduled as soon as we are able. MACAW (Mostly About Comedy and Wellbeing) Is MACAW "me"? Macaw evenings will give you, give everyone a chance to roam free. So often as Mr Shakespeare wrote, we are cabined, cribbed and confined by our jobs, by our lifestyle, by our routines. On a Wednesday evening with us you can open, you can explore, you can adventure using your imagination through improvised drama, comedy, role play and essentially and importantly by having fun. We believe that personal well-being and self belief will thrive and blossom with us at Chickenshed. Please join us as we seek to find ourselves and many others in a warm and vibrant environment full of discover and laughter. John and Chris Why? Find Your Voice Know Your True Colours Spread Your Wings F.L.Y (First Love Yourself) How? Comedy Play Mime Improvisation Sharing Chris Mousicos Chris is a Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner trained at The Institute of Arts in Therapy and Education where he specialised in creative group work. Also as a Life Coach and Meditation Teacher. Chris has been running Wellbeing groups for adults and children for six years and has also delivered creative therapeutic interventions in both primary and secondary schools. In 2006, Chris fulfilled a lifetime's ambition by performing on the stand-up comedy circuit after attending a comedy workshop in London. What made this particularly challenging but transformative for Chris is that he was going through a bout of depression at the time - but had already signed up! "It's easy for you to deliver a speech, you're a comedian." Chris often hears statements like this thrown at him which bring an inner and outer smile, confirming that change is possible as he was once a painfully shy child.
