Children's Festival of Fun - Making a Better World Before visiting, please check our Covid-19 STATEMENT & safety guidelines Our Tales from the Shed team are proud to bring a theatre version of Keilly Swift’s brilliant manual, How to Make a Better World back to the stage this summer! Taking ideas and activities from the book, and with some help from the cast, you will help create a manifesto so that we can all help to make a better world. Making a Better World is a show for children with an age recommendation of approximately 6–11yrs. It is a colourful, musical show full of song and dances – and interaction with the audience. Keilly Swift, the author of How to Make a Better World, is ideally placed to understand what kids are interested in. She's the Managing Editor at the award-winning children’s newspaper, First News, which has more than two million readers each week. After hearing first-hand from many engaged and passionate young people about the issues they care about, in particular their concerns about the environment, Keilly was moved to write How to Make a Better World to help kids who want to make a difference but are not sure where to start. This event forms part of our Children's Festival of Fun. Join us for two weeks packed full of events for children aged from 0 to 11 years.
