Yoga with Alis

There are different aspects of yoga including the physical postures, meditation, breath work and aspects that become a way of being and of living. In her classes, Alis incorporates the physical postures with meditation and breathing techniques to ensure participants enjoy a holistic class that will leave them feeling a greater sense of well being and fitness.

The physical postures, or asanas, are designed to exercise every part of the body. You will feel increased flexibility and strength throughout the whole body as a result of regular practice. The yoga sequences are carefully designed to ensure clients can work at their own pace and at their own level to get the most from their body and reach their full potential safely and confidently. The meditation is part of the class and helps to calm the mind to help you will feel more relaxed and in tune with your own sense of inner peace. The breath work is integral to both the physical postures and the meditation and you will learn how to use your breath to both energise your body as well as relax it at different points in the class.
