Nick CampsieNick had a 20 year career in financial services and is now focussed on his charitable and social interests, which are largely concerned with enhancing the education and employment prospects of disadvantaged groups in the UK. He was most recently a partner at global asset management firm Eton Park, where he ran the global illiquid equity portfolio. He previously worked at Nomura Principal Finance Group where he was involved in the acquisition or sale of Waste Recycling Group Plc, Odeon and UCI cinemas and William Hill Plc, amongst others. He began his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey and Company. Nick has a first class honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, where he was awarded the George Webb Medley Junior prize in economics and the Fitzgerald prize in political theory. Nick is Chairman of Down Syndrome Education International and Deputy Chair of the Chickenshed Theatre Trust.
