There’s already a spring in our step as we prepare for a brand new season!

A multitude of monologues in our new performance space, The Shed, kicks off our compelling performance programme. Last year’s celebration of new work in monolog received an ecstatic critical response. This spring we present monolog 2 where seven new and vastly different pieces of work will be performed in repertory. Selected from a huge number of submissions, these pieces shine a light on individual stories and experiences. This isn’t the only show this spring that promises to leave you challenged and engaged.

100% Chance of Rain, a brand new show that combines music, movement and story. Beautiful and uplifting, this production is inspired by issues of mental health and will offer insights and reflections in a unique and theatrical way. Audiences have been dazzled by the shows that have been presented in our regular spring slot over the last two years, and we guarantee that 100% Chance of Rain will be no different.

With our much-loved children’s shows Tales from the Shed and Planet Play constantly being developed to delight our youngest audiences, our Performances to Children programme continues to go from strength to strength. The Tales from the Shed Team also have wonderful new offering this spring: a production of The Tigon and the Liger, a beautiful new show based on the best-selling book by Keilly Swift about appreciating your differences, and learning to love the skin you’re in.

As if this wasn’t enough, we also have a bucketload of workshops, live music and comedy lined up! With all of these incredible activities, you won’t need to go anywhere else this spring!
