Courage, magic, honesty, passion, emotion and truth. These are all the things that make our members, participants and performers so wonderfully unique. As well as having the opportunity to develop their performance skills and take part in main house productions, everyone who takes part gets to grow and thrive in an inclusive environment where being different is the one thing we all have in common.
Our Children's, Youth and Adult Theatre groups are based in Chickenshed Theatre Southgate and The Wharf Rooms Chelsea and all are planned, delivered and evaluated by members of our artistic staff under the guidance of the Children’s and Youth Theatre Directors Charlotte Bull and Robin Shillinglaw and Chickenshed's Head of Membership. In this way we are able to ensure that the positive skills of all individual members are at the heart of everything we do.
Chickenshed Membership Artistic Policy
Because our Children's and Youth theatre is in such high demand, we aren't always able to offer a place for new members straight away but we always encourage you to submit an application as these are reviewed on a regular basis. To make sure no one is left out, we run regular drop-in Workshops for children and adults throughout the year.
