Wonder in Oxford Garden's School

Since 2016, Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea has been working with Oxford Gardens, a primary school in North Kensington. The school was a key partner in our large scale project, Dreams of Freedom that was performed at The Royal Albert Hall in June 2017.Read more

Survivors: News From our Front Line Project in Wales

Chickenshed’s Survivors project, which focuses on domestic abuse, has been very active in 2018. Working with women in refuges and local services in Wales, the show on the same topic, In the Absence of Silence was developed in 2016 and has been performed alongside the workshop program to both public and schools audiences in a number of regions.Read more

The Youth Theatre Presents [BLANK]: The Process

Eleanor Kettleton, a former member of our Youth Theatre, has returned to Chickenshed after graduating last year from Royal Holloway. As part of the Young Creator Trainee Programme, she is heading up a youth-led steering committee made up of current Youth Theatre members as they develop a new piece of work as part of the National Theatre’s Connections Festival.
