About Outreach

Theatre has the power to transform lives. Our diverse and talented team of practitioners travel across London, the UK, and the world to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience Chickenshed for themselves.

Our workshops and training opportunities seek to discover and champion the strengths of the individual to find ways to bring everyone together as a group. When everyone’s unique skills are bought together, we’re able to create something meaningful as one.

We have worked with many groups and organisations, including:

  • Primary Schools
  • Secondary Schools
  • SEN Schools
  • State Schools
  • Private Schools
  • Charities including Amnesty International UK and Barnardo’s
  • Prisons
  • Young Offenders Institutions
  • Groups and individuals looking to establish new inclusive theatre groups
  • Domestic Abuse Services
  • Arts centres

At the heart of these projects is the desire to improve lives through access to inclusive creative practice, giving a voice to those who are often unheard and in so doing, allowing them to become a change maker for real inclusion in society.
