Join the Tales from the Shed team on the Rainbow Stage (sponsored by Hard Rock) in Hyde Park for the British Summertime Festival. Entrance to the shows are free and take place on Tuesday 28 June, Thursday 30 June and Tuesday 5 July, at 10am, 11.20am and 12.45pm. This year the team will be performing two shows - Tales from the Shed (for children aged 0-6 years) and Making a Better World (for children aged 5-12 years).

Tales from the Shed are fun, vibrant and interactive theatre shows, perfect for young children. There is no edge to the stage, and the audience and performers share the space to create a unique story inspired by the children’s imagination. With a spark of magic, the session will come to life through puppetry, music and movement as we follow the adventures and tales of our favourite characters. Get ready to meet new friends, big and small as you join us for a session of play, silliness and magic.

Making a Better World has been devised for theatre by Chickenshed’s Tales from the Shed Team, and is based on Keilly Swift’s brilliant manual, How to Make a Better World. Taking the ideas and activities from within the book, the team have transformed them into a story with YOU, the audience, helping the cast to create a manifesto so that we can all help to make a better world.
