Join us for a truly unforgettable evening in the company of one of Britain's most iconic and best-loved entertainers.
Ricky Tomlinson takes to the stage for an intimate, funny and revealing conversation about his extraordinary life and career.
Best knwon to millions as the unforgettable Jim Royale in The Royle Family and Bobby Grant in Brookside, Ricky's story goes far beyond the screen. From working as a plasterer and banjo player to becoming a comedian, political activist, trade union campaigner and award-winning actor - and even an unwilling guest of Her Majesty's Prison Service - Ricky has lived a life filled with remarkable twists, challenges and unforgettable moments.
Hosted by Asa Murphy, expect an evening of candid stories, laughter, memories from a legendary career and plenty of suprises along the way.
If you enjoy brilliant storytelling, big laughs and hearing the real stories behind one of Britain's best-loved entertainers, this is an event not to be missed.
Ricky has very kindly donated all proceeds from this special evening to fund Chickenshed’s work.
This evening is the only London date of his tour. Please note: the audience will be visible on camera, as this event is being filmed for a forthcoming documentary.
