Tales from the Shed gets a spooky makeover — and it's perfect for your tiniest trick-or-treaters.

Halloween Tales takes everything you love about Tales from the Shed - the music, the silliness, the warmth - and adds a seasonal sprinkle of spooky fun. Think cobwebs, creaky sounds and characters that are just the right amount of silly-scary for little ones aged 0–6. 

Fancy dress is very much encouraged. Boo!

Tales from the Shed is a series of vibrant, inclusive theatre shows designed especially for young children. Informal, lively, and brilliantly engaging, these performances break down the traditional stage-audience barrier with children and performers sharing the same space.

At Tales, we believe in the power of performance to spark joy, curiosity, and connection. By encouraging active participation, we help children become part of the storytelling, creating lasting memories and nurturing a lifelong love of learning.

Tales from the Shed is for children from 0-6 years only. With the exception of older siblings, no children over the age of 6 will be admitted.

Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor.

You will need to purchase a ticket for everyone from the age of 6 months. If you are bringing a child under 6 months they are free of charge and you do not need to get them a ticket.

We've got you covered with baby changing, disabled access, space to park buggies and even a cafè to get a tasty treat!

Limited free parking is available in front of the building.
