Hood

Sack of money with lines of people standing beside it

What happens after the legend ends?

Inspired by the story of Robin Hood, Hood reimagines what comes next - when the myths have faded, but the questions remain.

Brought to life by Chickenshed’s Young Company, this original production combines music, storytelling and ensemble performance to explore themes of equality, power and what it really means to be heard.

Told through a fresh, youthful lens, Hood asks us to look again at a familiar story - and consider who gets to shape the future once the hero is gone.

Who's it for?

Suitable for ages 7+

A great choice for:

  • Young people and families
  • Those interested in new writing and original theatre
  • Anyone who enjoys bold, ensemble-led performance
Perfect for audiences who want something thoughtful, energetic and driven by young voices.
