Opera Blurgh

Our infamous Blurgh character has been around for decades, but this time they’re coming to Chickenshed in a new dramatic guise - opera-style!

Building on workshops with renowned children’s practitioner, Janet Robertson, the Tales Team will use operatic techniques to bring stories to life - filling them with colour, sound and, of course, our very own Blurgh.

Opera Blurgh is for children from 0-6 years only. With the exception of older siblings, no children over the age of 6 will be admitted.

You will need to purchase a ticket for everyone from the age of 6 months. If you are bringing a child under 6 months they are free of charge and you do not need to get them a ticket

Seating is a mixture of fixed seating and mats on the floor.

Tales from the Shed are vibrant, inclusive theatre shows that are perfect for young children. They are informal, lively and amazingly engaging as the performers and audience share the same space.
