This unpredictable show is controlled by you as we use our magical bag to pull out your items to create magical stories and worlds. So, challenge us with your favourite toys to bring them to life on the big stage!

The ultimate storytelling collaboration is here. Chickenshed’s Tales from the Shed teams up with Tales Toolkit, creators of online training and resources that develop early storytelling skills. Watch as the characters create a story – and one made by YOU!

Tales Toolkit believes that everyone has a story and are on a mission to help children tell theirs.

They provide a complete training and resource package for schools, nurseries and childminders with the goal of supporting young children and their educators to create stories together that ignite a joy for reading and writing. Learning is at its best when children feel safe, engaged and empowered. Tales Toolkit aims to give teachers the skills that lead to an environment where young storytellers find their voice.

Whether your child loves theatre, storytelling, music, or hands-on workshops, the FlexPass lets you secure entry in advance without committing to specific events immediately. Think of it as your child’s golden ticket to a summer of memories – but with built-in savings.

Seating is mostly on mats on the floor so that children and performers can freely move around the space. Chairs are available for anyone who would prefer not to sit on the floor.

We've got you covered with baby changing, disabled access, space to park buggies and even a cafè to get a tasty treat!

Limited free parking is available in front of the building.
