Knowledge, Skills and Experience required to undertake this role

  • H&S administration experience, with both insight and enthusiasm in this area
  • Demonstrable ability to escalate H&S concerns appropriately and to promote a culture of best practice in this area
  • Proficient ICT skills including MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail, good planning and organizing skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised is essential
  • Ability to keep abreast of changes in legislation and a keen interest in relevant legal issues
  • Commitment to and experience of developing best practice for health & safety
  • Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills, including archiving & minutes.
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds
