By Tube

The theatre is located approximately 10 minutes walk from Cockfosters Underground Station and 12 minutes from Oakwood Underground Station. Both stations are on the Piccadilly line.

By Bus

Routes 298, 299, 307 and N91 stop outside the theatre.

By Car

If you are travelling by car, free parking is available immediately outside the building, and if you have mobility issues easy access spaces can be booked in advance through the Box Office on 020 8292 9222.

    Access is at the centre of Chickenshed's vision. We aim to offer a warm welcome to everyone, and to ensure that all our activities are as accessible as possible to the widest number of people. We offer a reduced rate to patrons attending specifically for Access Performances (captioned, audio-described, sign language interpreted). Similarly, we offer wheelchair users the reduced rate to sit in the designated wheelchair areas in the stalls.

    Level 3 Training

    The BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts is a two year full time course, nationally recognised as an equivalent to three A-levels (Level 3). Over the course of two years you will have the opportunity to explore dance, drama and musical theatre through a series of units and gain practical experience of inclusive theatre practice.

    Theatre relies on the skills and creativity of many people from the beginning of an idea to the final bows and our Young Creators Programme and Trainee Scheme provide vocational training and hands-on experience for young people looking to discover more.
