Emma Cambridge joined Chickenshed’s children's theatre at the age of 7. She created the role of Emma in the Company's much-loved Christmas production "The Night Before Christmas" which premiered at The Place in 1992 - opened the theatre in 1994 and was re-mounted to celebrate ten years of Christmas at home in 2003. She has performed in numerous productions and cabarets. Singing Mustang Sally was her own favourite Chickenshed moment before she was cast as Alice for Chickenshed’s touring show, Alice on the Underground when everything else paled into insignificance.

After leaving school Emma became a trainee and during that time she completed the BTEC course, gained a Foundation Degree and went on to get a 2.2 BA (Hons) degree in Inclusive Performance at Chickenshed.

Emma is a member of the Tales from the Shed creative, performing and outreach team focusing mainly on early years.

Performing, dancing and singing is her passion. Mustang Sally is still a firm favourite – but you don’t need to ask her more than once to sing any song – she will happily agree.
