I have been a part of Chickenshed since the age of 11 when sessions were held in the original converted chicken shed, back when Jonny Morton was only 9 years old! I received my training in Technical Theatre at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. My career includes serving as a Stage Manager in the West End for productions like "The Woman In Black" and The National Theatre's "An Inspector Calls." I also toured with Hull Truck and worked in repertory theatre at Derby Playhouse and Leicester Haymarket. In television production, I contributed to shows such as "Blue Peter," "The National Soap Awards," National Lottery programmes on BBC 1, and "Challenge Anneka," and spent five years as a Production Manager with Richard & Judy. At Chickenshed, I've taken on various roles over the years and currently oversee Commercial Hires and events, aiming to open our wonderful building to more people and use the revenue to support Chickenshed's mission.
