Discovering The Lost Records Project

I joined The Lost Records project towards the end by firstly, attending the Writers Workshop.

I immediately felt that I had found something very special, something very unique and I connected with Rachel and her more than enthusiastic dynamism as she encouraged my writing skills leading to an article that I am told will be published at some point. I was also involved and performed in the show that emerged from this project and to say it was a life-changing experience, is not doing the whole experience justice!

Transformation and Impact

What changed? What did not change! The whole experience was just something I have no words for as I met some incredible and authentic people of all different ages and with varying abilities and found out that it was 'okay' just to be imperfect me.

My confidence, my self-esteem have improved and my ability to connect with and really appreciate, value people who are different but the same as me.

The change happened due to the inclusivity of all the various people and the encouragement and vision of Rachel and her team.

Rediscovering Joy

Having spent most of my adult life working full time, raising two children as a single parent and not having the best start in life, it gave me back my childhood as I danced even though I could not dance, sang even though I could not sing and laughed and connected with people, even though I had nothing to laugh about and felt so disconnected from people.
