Your support is at the heart of Chickenshed.

At Chickenshed we are striving towards a truly inclusive society that enables everyone to flourish.

Whether it’s producing thought-provoking inspirational theatre, delivering our education programme, working with our Young Company, or engaging with communities through our outreach work, we are changing hearts and minds and creating a better world for us all to live in.

Giving a donation

We know that times are hard right now, so whether you’re able to give a one-off donation or set up a monthly donation, your support really makes a difference. By setting up a regular donation and joining our Friends programme you are helping us to plan for our future so we can be here for the children and young people we work with.

Plus this income is unrestricted meaning that we can use the money when and where it’s needed most. Membership starts from as little as £5 per month, which is less than two coffees from your local high street chain! Monthly payments are taken by the cardholder wallet on our system and are auto-renewed, as well as fully gift-aid claimable.

How much we need to raise each year

As a registered charity, we need to raise over £3 million a year. We earn £1.4 million through ticket sales, education fees, membership fees and payment for delivering projects (which we keep to an affordable rate so everyone can access our work).

However, the remaining £1.6 million needs to be raised through fundraising.

  • Individual Giving - 13.16%
  • Events - 8.39%
  • Community Fundraising - 7%
  • Corporate Fundraising - 16%
  • Philanthropy - 55.45%

£1,600,000
Let's break that down
