If you’re interested in joining us and supporting the organisation and logistics of the Wonder Walk, we’d love to hear from you!

Wonder Walk roles

We have the following roles available on the day, on Sun 9 Jun.

Depending on the role, the minimum shift will be 2 – 4 hours of volunteering time. All volunteers are welcome to join us to celebrate at Chickenshed after the walk.

  • Registration

    Registering new walkers on the day. Collecting personal details, taking registration fee payments, distributing walker numbers, goody bags and t-shirts for new registrations only.

  • Goody bags

    Checking off registered walkers and distributing goody bags to all participants

  • T-shirts/walker numbers

    Checking off registered walkers and distributing the correct size t-shirt as on registration form.

  • Route Marshal

    Located along the 5k or 10k route, directing walkers along the route at designated points, encouraging walkers to keep walking and have fun!

  • Ad hoc

    Setting up/clearing/medal distribution/welcome, based at Chickenshed Theatre.

  • Logistics

    Moving/transporting across the route/s where necessary.
